Frequently Asked Questions
What is CBD
CBD is an acronym for Cannabidiol (Can-a-bid-i-ol), a prominent naturally occurring class of molecules called cannabinoids found in the plant genus Cannabis Sativa L. CBD comprises up to 40% of the plant and is one of over 60 plus compounds found in cannabis. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations, and are therefore the most recognized and studied. CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the plant that possesses a wide range of benefits and does not cause a high, unlike THC. Our bodies are made up of an endocannabinoid system and uses cannabinoids to maintain healthy cells and according to researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

How long before I receive my order?
You will normally receive your Fab CBD product within 4 to 7 working days, please see our terms and conditions for special countries that take a longer time. However, there are things that may further delay your shipment which are out of our control.
What is the best method of use?
For our CBD products we can only recommend them for internal consumption or as a topical ointment. If you don’t like the flavor of the oil supplements, you can mix with something sweet like apple sauce or honey to cut through the flavor. Oils are to be taken sublingually and held under your tongue for 60-90 seconds before being swallowed. The topical can be applied as a cream or lotion. The chews are best as a chewable or similar to a lozenge.
Why is my shipment tracking not seem right?
USPS is our shipping service. Sometimes they do not scan packages in when they are picked up and sometimes they are send to odd locations before coming to you. This should not effect your delivery time but if you happen to see an odd location of your package in between ordering and arriving to you, don't be alarmed, its just our US Postal Service at its finest! If you need any help locating your package or something does go wrong, please email us at support@fabcbd.com and we will help you!
What is CBD Oil?
CBD oil is derived from cannabis plants that have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) while having low levels of THC. At Fab CBD, our CBD oils always have less than 0.2% THC. These extracts can then be used in paste form, or mixed with other oils such as hemp seed oil, to lower the viscosity of the extract. The cannabidiol (CBD) content of CBD oil varies tremendously, since the manufacturers use a varying assortment of cannabis plants and preparation techniques. We produce CBD oil with a high concentration of CBD and containing 0.054% THC.
How is our CBD oil manufactured?
At Fab CBD we use solvent free CO2 extraction. In other words using the CO2 from the air we breath to extract the beneficial molecules. Hypercritical carbon dioxide extraction is a relatively new process used to extract the essence of the plant. When a certain amount of pressure is applied to CO2 (carbon dioxide) this gas turns into liquid. This liquid CO2 can be used as a very inert, safe, “liquid solvent.”
What's the difference between hemp & marijuana?
Here are a few facts about CBD derived from industrial hemp: Agricultural hemp and medical marijuana both come from the Cannabis Sativa L. plant. Agricultural hemp, which is often referred to as “hemp stalk,” grows differently than THC-containing cannabis, and looks similar to bamboo. THC-producing marijuana plants are grown to an average of five feet in height, spaced six to eight feet apart. Agricultural hemp is grown to a height of 10 to 15 feet or more before harvest, placed three to six inches apart. Hemp has little potential to produce high-content THC when pollinated. As long as agricultural hemp plants are pollinated by members of their own crop, the genetics will remain similar with low levels of THC. There is a strong legal argument that production and distribution of CBD oils/products derived from imported raw material industrial hemp is not a violation of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA); in fact, one Colorado law firm has published a written opinion making the case.
Is CBD oil legal?
There is no need for a prescription or medical card to purchase hemp CBD. It is a natural constituent of the high CBD Hemp strains of the plant containing very low levels of THC. Having only trace amounts of THC, our hemp CBD oil is non-psychoactive and legal in all 50 states. CBD Oil/Hemp Oil and other hemp products are considered to be food-based. As such, there are no restrictions on the production, sale and consumption of hemp oil in the United States. CBD Oil/Hemp Oil is legal in most countries in the world as long is it contains low or in some countries untraceable concentrations of the molecule THC.
How should I store my CBD? What is the shelf life?
For the best shelf life please refrigerate your cbd oil if possible. Otherwise storing in a cool dark area will assure there is no loss in potency. Don't allow to sit in direct sunlight. If properly stored CBD has around a 1 year shelf life!
Will I fail a drug test if I take CBD products?
The hemp oil in our product contains CBD which is a LEGAL cannabinoid from hemp. It contains minuscule amounts (parts per billion) of THC that COULD show up in a drug screen. Fab CBD cannot guarantee that you will or will not pass a drug screen due to the amount of variables. Our products contain less than .3% THC(.054% to be exact). Drug screens vary and some can be more sensitive than others. If you have to take a drug test, it is best to not use our product.
Will I get high?
No. Our Hemp Extract products are all made from industrial hemp, which only has trace amounts of THC, so there is no psychoactive effect from taking our products. Our CBD Vape oil and CBD Isolate are 100% THC free, and it is THC that is the psychoactive component of cannabis.
Where can I find the 3rd party testing for your oils?
Our test results are found in the last line of the paragraph at the top of this page.

What is this Foreign Transaction Fee?
CBD is considered a "high risk" payment processing industry right now so it is not easy to secure a bank to take our payments and trust we are above board company. This is for all cannabis and cbd companies in the world. US banks (Domestic) are not taking us as clients yet so we needed to secure a bank over seas in order to process your payments. A bank that trusts what we are doing and took the risk to process our payments. The bank we use is located in the UK and the address is on our contact page. This is something that will go away once we secure a US Bank and processor. We hope this to be very soon! Until now, that fee is out of our control. We are very sorry. It does not go to us or we would for sure waive it for you!
